On January 26, 2021, a meeting of representatives of the Zaporozhye Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NU "Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic" and enterprises participating in the EAM cluster (Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering) took place.
At the meeting, the importance of cooperation of the region's enterprises with technical higher and secondary educational institutions and, above all, with the Zaporozhye Polytechnic, was discussed.
Among those present there are industrial enterprises of the region Triada LTD, ROLL GRAND, PK KOTLOMONTAZH LLC, as well as representatives of the Zaporizhzhya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and NU Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic.
They discussed the role of the National University "Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic" in the cluster, as well as the importance of further cooperation for the development of regional industry.
The main issues of the meeting:
- it is important that enterprises take part in the formation of educational programs for specialties in whose graduates they are interested;
- introduction of a dual education system;
- the need to create an industrial park on the basis of the NU "Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic";
- joint grant activities of the university and the cluster;
- creating a positive image for specialties and professions of a technical direction;
- using the industrial capacities of regional enterprises for internship, writing coursework and diploma projects;
- using the potential of scientific schools of the university to solve the problems of industrial enterprises in the region;
- creation and presentation of interesting design solutions for the industry from NU "Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic".
Also, the participants clearly outlined the cluster's work plan for the near future.
