The big Uzbek-Ukrainian Business Forum-2021 took place on May 18-20 in Tashkent. Triada-Welding was part of a delegation from Ukraine with a business mission from the Zaporizhia region and the Zaporizhia IAM cluster, and took part in the Forum.
For the first time in 30 years, a delegation of Ukrainian business arrived in Uzbekistan in this composition - more than 30 Ukrainian companies and more than 50 participants (previously there were a maximum of 2-3 companies).
Representatives of Ministries, Embassies, CCI and Business were present on both sides.
Ukraine is in the TOP-10 priority countries with which Uzbekistan would like to establish relations, this country is open and ready for cooperation. Over the last year, 36,000 new SMEs have opened in Uzbekistan, 58% of new businesses have been created in the last 3 years.
The state program of development of Uzbekistan-2030 is accepted. The forum discussed industrial cooperation with Ukraine and a number of bilateral documents were signed.
Then there were B2B meetings attended by top officials, focusing on mechanical engineering, the energy sector, the agricultural sector, and others.
Uzbek television filmed a report about the company Triada-Welding, in which we talked about our work and opportunities for cooperation with our company.
They also visited the Technopark, located on the territory of the former aircraft plant, which produced IL-76.
The construction of the Technopark will start in July 2019, by the end of 2020 it has already been launched; a total of 17 different productions are envisaged, 10 have already been introduced and produce various products, starting from copper pipes and copper parts, to gas equipment, washing machines, refrigerators, elevators, escalators, etc.
The technopark is owned by the mayor's office, 100% of the funds are invested by the state. A total of 4,500 people work in the Technopark, the area is 103 hectares.
We plan to start working with Uzbek companies in the near future.
