On September 15, the international exhibition "SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025" began in Essen, Germany, bringing together a community of specialists in welding, surfacing, and metal cutting. This year, 42 countries demonstrated their innovations and solutions in the industrial heart of Europe. It is at such exhibitions that visions of the future of industrial production are formed, and the transformation of the world becomes tangible.
The trends here and now are clear - digitalization, artificial intelligence, sustainable development and workforce development. The exhibition presents a multitude of startups and digital solutions.
A representative of our company has traveled a long way to the exhibition by car, plane, and train, and is already sharing his first impressions of meetings with foreign colleagues. Our company has planned a number of meetings, exchange of knowledge, expert opinions for cooperation and development of advanced technologies - in Ukraine.
During the three days, the meetings with our partners are very warm: Yaskawa, Fronius, Fidat, Сepro, Askaynak, Erkweld, etc. We discuss technical issues, look to the future. It seems that it is welding technologies that drive progress)) combining various innovations in themselves. In general, the emphasis is on promising technologies in robotics, digitalization, IIoT solutions (Industrial Internet of Things), modeling tools and software-oriented modeling systems, saving materials and energy - in short, on smart production, the future is behind this. Indeed, the number of visitors is impressive, but what immediately catches the eye is the increase in the presence of Asian hi-tech (China, India, etc.) The world is moving and developing. We must understand this.
The new high-tech model of industry is clear to everyone who has walked through these halls and pavilions and touched innovative solutions and technologies. In terms of population, Essen can be compared to our Zaporizhia. At the end of the 20th century, it was the center of the coal and steel industries. That is, there were the same problems with ecology here. But today, Essen has the title of the green capital of Europe, has become different in the areas of climate change, migration and integration, air quality and wastewater. A good example for the transformation of the old model of industry into a modern high-tech one. Zaporizhia will become like that. Returning to Ukraine, we bring many ideas, many interesting and new (technological) things that we will implement here. We are working on new projects.
