The company "TRIADA LTD" "grows" metal parts and develops robotics in Ukraine

The website of the information agency "Ukrainian News" published an interview with the director of LLC "TRIADA LTD", co-founder of the Zaporizhzhia cluster "Engineering-Automation-Mechanical Engineering" Kirill Krasnoselsky.

The consortium of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia Chambers of Commerce and Industry continues to introduce you to the stories of Ukrainian companies that demonstrate a professional approach to business development, stability and endurance. The joint project is called “EntreComp+ — entrepreneurial competencies that allow business to expand its horizons” and is implemented within the framework of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) project in Ukraine “Strengthening membership business associations of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine”, which is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and with the support of Switzerland.

Our today's publication is about the experience of a modern engineering company, a system integrator of robotic complexes, operating in Zaporizhia since 1992. The company specializes in providing engineering and technical services, developing technologies related to the development and establishment of various welding industries. It successfully solves problems of any complexity in the field of design, engineering, development of welding technologies, integration and launch of robotic welding complexes. It has its own production and technical center with a full diagnostic base for studying additive 3D printing technologies.

We asked the director of LLC "TRIADA LTD" Kyrylo Krasnoselsky how the company survives in war conditions, what helped it survive during the most difficult year of 2022, and now develop and implement new projects.

— Mr. Kyrylo, tell us how the company's work has changed in war conditions?

— We have transformed and restructured in many ways. The quarantine restrictions regime helped us in part, which pushed us to more actively implement online technologies and digital services. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we, like the vast majority of Ukrainian companies, experienced a decline, but we managed to mobilize the team, establish effective communication and continue working step by step.

We supported each other, united, analyzed what services would be in demand now, and studied new markets. Approximately three months after the full-scale invasion, we managed to stabilize the situation, and already in 2023-early 2024 we reached the indicators that we had before the start of the full-scale invasion.

— What decisions were made?

— We placed greater emphasis on robotics and robotics services that Ukrainian enterprises needed. Not every company can afford to purchase a welding robot, so we began to provide outsourcing services more actively — at our work, we performed welding of parts to order, and also performed work on setting up additive technologies (3D) — a direction that we began to develop even before the full-scale war.

We focused more on the domestic market, because during martial law it is difficult for us to export, because our specifics involve direct visits of specialists to the customer's production. From exports, only consulting services and maintenance of robotic complexes of European companies operating in Ukraine have remained.

In addition, we began to more actively provide support to companies with which we worked before. We offered additional services, robotics services, performed commissioning and consulting support. Thanks to this, we received new projects.

By the way, the team of specialists of “TRIADA LTD” began to study 3D welding in 2019 thanks to the support of one of the international programs. Having participated in the grant program, we won a grant for the study and implementation of additive technologies in the aerospace industry, and received the necessary equipment. So we entered 2022 with developments that allowed us to put this activity on stream.

The metal products “grown” by us using 3D technologies have become in demand in the aerospace and other industries. This is an area that will only gain momentum over time.
